Aims & Scope
The International Journal of Sport and Health Sciences (IJSHS) aims to advance scholarly understanding of the roles of sport, exercise, and physical activity in promoting physical health, mental health, and overall well-being. The journal focuses on research that examines the physiological, psychological, and behavioral mechanisms through which sport and movement influence health outcomes across different populations and contexts.
IJSHS publishes interdisciplinary research that integrates sport sciences and health sciences, with particular emphasis on physical fitness, disease prevention, rehabilitation, mental health promotion, psychological well-being, and quality of life. The journal welcomes studies addressing both performance-oriented and health-oriented dimensions of sport and physical activity, including recreational, educational, clinical, and elite sport settings.

Physical activity, exercise, and health outcomes
Sport and exercise psychology, mental health, and well-being

IJSHS welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, bibliometric and scientometric analyses, theoretical and conceptual papers, and applied research employing quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods designs. All submissions should demonstrate methodological rigor, ethical integrity, and clear relevance to the advancement of sport, physical health, and mental health sciences.
