Submission Preparation Checklist

 

Before submitting a manuscript to the International Journal of Sport and Health Sciences (IJSHS), authors are required to confirm that all of the following conditions have been met.

The submission has not been previously published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

The manuscript aligns with the aims and scope of the journal and is relevant to sport sciences, physical health, mental health, or psychological well-being.

All authors have made substantial contributions to the work, approved the final version of the manuscript, and agreed to its submission to IJSHS.

The manuscript is written in clear academic English. Either British English or American English is used consistently throughout the manuscript.

The manuscript meets the recommended word length for its article type as specified in the Author Guidelines.

The manuscript file is prepared in an acceptable format (e.g., Microsoft Word) and follows the journal’s formatting requirements, including font, spacing, margins, and page numbering.

The manuscript is structured appropriately and includes all required sections, such as title page, abstract, keywords, main text, references, and required statements.

The abstract does not exceed 250 words and provides a clear summary of the purpose, methods, key findings, and conclusions of the study.

Three to six keywords are provided and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.

All tables and figures are numbered consecutively, cited in the text, and accompanied by appropriate titles and captions.

All references are formatted according to the APA 7th edition style, and all citations in the text are included in the reference list and vice versa.

All Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), where available, are provided in the reference list in URL format.

Research involving human participants or animals complies with relevant ethical standards and regulations, and ethical approval and informed consent are stated where applicable.

All potential conflicts of interest have been disclosed in the manuscript.

All sources of funding or financial support have been clearly stated.

The manuscript complies with the journal’s Publication Ethics and Plagiarism Policy.

The manuscript has been checked for plagiarism and represents original work.

Any third-party material included in the manuscript has been used with appropriate permission and acknowledgment.

The authors understand that all submissions are subject to an initial editorial screening and a double-blind peer review process.
