Copyright & Licensing
The International Journal of Sport and Health Sciences (IJSHS) respects authors’ rights and is committed to transparent and ethical copyright and licensing practices. The journal operates under an open-access publishing model that ensures wide dissemination and reuse of published research while maintaining appropriate attribution to authors.
Copyright
Authors who publish in IJSHS retain the copyright to their work. By submitting and publishing an article in the journal, authors grant IJSHS a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, and display the work in all forms and media, including electronic and digital formats.
This non-exclusive license allows authors to retain full ownership of their work and to reuse, share, and archive their articles without restriction, provided that the original publication in IJSHS is properly acknowledged.
Licensing Terms
Unless otherwise stated, all articles published in IJSHS are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY). This license permits others to copy, distribute, transmit, adapt, and build upon the work, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source.
Use and Attribution
Any reuse of content published in IJSHS must include proper attribution, including the article title, author(s), journal name, and a link to the original publication. Users must also indicate if changes were made to the original work.
Third-Party Material
If a manuscript contains material (such as figures, tables, or data) that is owned by third parties, authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions prior to publication and for clearly indicating the copyright status of such material within the article.
Changes to Licensing
Any deviations from the journal’s standard licensing terms must be agreed upon in advance and clearly indicated at the time of publication. IJSHS reserves the right to update its copyright and licensing policies in accordance with changes in best practices in scholarly publishing.
